About Us

Background

Liberty College of Management & Journalism started in 2004 as a Vocational and Professional Training Centre for the Youth and adults from underprivileged backgrounds to offer quality, but affordable education. The College is purely private day mixed fully registered by the Ministry of Education & Sports under MOESTS/BTVET/142 and has the UBTEB Centre Number for National Examinations UBB 178, for both certificate and diploma. It is managed by a Board of Directors with support from a team of qualified personnel, to handle management issues daily basis.

The institution is also registered with Directorate of Industrial Training Reg. no. DIT 153/10/07 and a Centre for examinations number UVQF 099

Currently, Liberty College stands to develop men and women with values, knowledge, and skills essential to impact the world positively. Through its programs, the college shall educate men and women who will make important contributions to their workplaces and communities, following their chosen vocations as callings to transform the world making it a better place for habitation.
